With over 70% of adult Internet users on the platform1, Facebook offers manufacturers a prime channel for reaching customer, product, and new hire leads.

Despite low advertising costs and easy access to potential leads, many manufacturers are unsure how to use Facebook in their lead generating strategies. Here are 4 easy content ideas to capture attention and generate more leads.

1. Video is one of the highest performing engagement strategies. Most customers prefer watching a video about a product instead of reading about it. One study shows businesses using video increase revenue 49% faster than those who don’t use video.2

2. Infographics/Tips/Statistics– Customers buy from companies they trust. Build credibility with tips, infographics, whitepapers, or other informative and interesting content that provides immediate value to your audience.

3. Case Studies/Product Benefits– Customers want to know what you can do for them. Show them with short case studies or by touting your product benefits. How will your customers’ lives improve by using your product? Make a graphic for your Facebook post, and link to a longer article if necessary.

4. Polls/Audience Questions– As humans, we like to feel included and a sense of involvement. Ask your audience to engage with your brand through polls and questions that are relevant to your industry. People often participate because they like to feel their opinion is valued. The best part about Facebook is that when people see others participating, they’re more likely to jump in!

Link all your Facebook posts to your website or landing page, making sure it is easy for potential leads to contact you through a lead capture form. Facebook is a very effective tool for driving traffic to your website, just make sure the content provides value and is engaging. Keep it visual. Keep it interesting. And always remember to use Pixels and retargeting. Don’t miss the opportunity to generate more leads.
