Honesty Problem

Our blog

What is meaningful work? We think it is a personal question with answers that vary from person to person. But broadly we think it’s the work that makes us feel like we are fulfilling our purpose. It’s what gets our blood pumping. It’s the excitement of making a difference. It’s the feeling of doing what we were made to do.

At Sourdough, meaningful work is leveraging our unique talents and experience to add value to our clients’ projects and brands. It’s developing trusting relationships that go beneath the surface so that we gain a full understanding of the essence of each company and initiative. It’s listening to our clients’ needs and seeing the relief on their faces when we tell them they aren’t in it alone. It’s sharing what we know and empowering others to do their own meaningful work. It’s knowing that we may never see the full impact of our efforts but trusting that we are helping to change people’s lives, whether our work is allowing a father to attend his son’s basketball game or it’s making someone’s legacy project come alive. Meaningful work is purpose, passion, and trust. It’s why we do what we do.

What were you made to do? Join the conversation by recording a 30 second video clip of what meaningful work means to you, and send us a PM. Don’t want to record yourself? Send us a message, and we can do it for you! We’re making the clips into a video, and we want to hear from you!
